FAQ Troubleshooting

  • My entire electrical system is dead

    Step 1
Check that your house battery is charged by viewing the battery monitor screen.

    Step 2
Check that the solar controller (located under the bed in the utility bay) has its “Load Output” turned on. This can be confirmed by an illuminated LED light next to a lightbulb icon on the top of the controller. Turn the “Load Output” on by pressing the right arrow button on the front face of the solar controller.

    Step 3
Inspect that all breaker switches are in the on position. DC breaker switches are located in the kitchen base cabinet and can be accessed by removing the drawers in the Rover, opening the sink cabinet in the Rover XL, or removing the trash can in the Alltrek.

    Step 4
If the breaker switches are on, turn them all off and then back on again. After turning the breaker switches back on, complete step 2 again.

  • My diesel heater isn't working

If your diesel screen is on but the heater is not turning on:

    Step 1
Make sure your house battery is charged fully

    Step 2
If the house battery is not fully charged start the van’s engine and let it idle while trying to start the heater.

If the diesel heater screen is black or frozen:

    Step 1
Remove the fuse for the diesel heater (located under the driver’s seat).

    Step 2
Check that the fuse is not blown.

    Step 3
    Replace the fuse.

If the heater is smoking while trying to start, turn the heater off immediately. Running the heater while it is smoking can potentially cause further damage to the heater. Before trying to restart the heater:

    Step 1
Make sure that the van’s engine is running while trying to restart.

  • My drawers are opening while I drive
Make sure that your drawer latches are closed before driving your van. If there is excessive weight in the drawer it may be sagging causing the latch to disengage. The drawer can be adjusted upward. View this video for drawer adjustment instructions.
  • My outdoor shower heater isn't working

If your water heater is not heating water, chances are the heater’s pilot flame is not igniting. You can verify this by looking into the [water droplet-shaped] viewing window on the front face of the heater. If when water is flowing out of the shower head, you cannot hear the igniter clicking repeatedly to light the heating flame:

    Step 1
Check to make sure the igniter switch is on. The switch is located on the bottom of the heater.

    Step 2
Check to make sure the igniter D-batteries are in good condition. These batteries should be replaced annually.

If you can hear the igniter clicking but there is no flame lighting, Check to make sure there is a full bottle of propane connected to the heater and screwed up hand-tight.

  • My sink isn't working

    Step 1
Make sure the water tank level is at least one “tick” above the empty line.

    Step 2
Make sure the water pump is powered on.

    Step 3
Test to make sure the pump is building water pressure by attaching the spray-down port hose and spraying water.

    Step 4
Remove the sink aerator to inspect for blockage.

    Step 5
Inspect the faucet line under the sink for kinking or damage.

  • My induction stove isn't working

    Step 1
Check that your stove is turned on and has power. A red indicator light will illuminate.

    Step 2
If there is no red indicator light on the stove, check that the inverter is on. In the Alltrek, confirm that the stove’s breaker switch is turned on.

    Step 3
If the indicator light is on, make sure that you are using an induction-compatible cooking pan/pot. The pan/pot must be magnetic and must have a minimum diameter of 8”.

  • My power outlets aren’t working

    Step 1
Make sure the inverter power switch is on, the indicator light is green and the warning/error light is not illuminated.

    Step 2
